these books that have the same ISBN number but different covers. ones taken from reeds web page and the other from amazon. They are both Europe - Denmark - Gib

Or has amazon used a bit of artistic licence and used the 2007 cover (from memory it was this cover in 2007)

Yes the Jesey.com cover is the real 2008 Almanac. The other is as you say, 2007 cover with a bit of photoshop.

The Amazon version certainly appears to have the cover of the 2007 Almanac (obviously the date has been changed). The cover also had a gold 'stamp' saying that it was the 75th anniversary edition - clearly this has also been removed from the Amazon 2008 version. Looks like a Photoshop job to me.

Maybe it is a bit of photoshopping, but I wouldn't have thought Amazon was bothered to do it. Probably a publisher's early dummy.
