What's on at Yarmouth

We had a lovely 24 hours aboard over the weekend. Decided to zip to Yarmouth and found it rammed - was something going on or was it just the good weather? Now we are 14m, online booking is no longer an option, so aborted visits like this happen all too frequently... Very frustrating!
LYC came to the rescue and a great night out was had in Lymington instead! Lunch in Newtown creek and then home for tea!

Left late due to work and had a flat run down the Solent... Stunning! Even jumped in today (with wetsuit!)

unsurprisingly we were in Yarmouth over the weekend on a residents berth, believe it was a RSrnYC rally.

We need to stat the planning for the Forum RTI Cycle/Beer n Natter next summer, making sure we get booked-in. We could use some more cyclists next year, and looking at HenryF's form on Strava, he is a good candidate. Flowerpower too? Will aim to complete the ride earlier next year so we can fit in better with the Beer n Natter. I'm sure oGaryo will start a new thread in due course.

Apparently there were 3 rallies going on, so it made it even worse. I couldn't stop for lunch in the harbour, had to get a mooring buoy with a boat of inexperienced family, so manged it single handed :encouragement:

Makes sense! I tend to stay away in summer because I risk getting turned away. Roll on the winter!
