What's it called?

Hi All,

What's the proper name for this type of locking joint (in this case used on a danbuoy)? - it should have a threaded ring which tightens the splines against the inner pole.

Something along the lines of "telescoping pole locking collar"?

It's a collet joint/clamp with the collets not separate but formed as part of the female.
