Whats in your garage?

He takes the trailer mounted ones to shows, where he fires 'em up.

Apart from the bikes why?
 
This is a bit sad.

As I enter my sixth year of boating I have two garages, one single and one double, filled with all sorts of junk. But between the two, the boating paraphernalia consists of two old fenders, three fuel cans and a prawn pot.

Maybe I am not trying hard enough.

He's an enthusiast.

He stripped, refurbished and rebuilt the aero engines himself. He cut down and balanced the props himself.

The punt guns are antiques, apart from the one he made (he's a blacksmith) and which he uses. Some of the static engines are almost 100 years old

Also, I guess it's all worth a tidy sum now, as they don't make 'em any more.

How much for a 1940's Spitfire/Hurricane/Mosquito/Beaufighter/Mustang/Lancaster etc engine today? £25K? £50K? £75K?

Makes my couple of inflatables and an outboard look a bit pathetic doesnt it!
 
If you know what it's like to downsize homes from having outbuildings/workshops/garages to having just one single garage, then I may have your sympathies.
I have just been able to borrow part of the space in a neighours garage for all the boaty stuff during winter storage.

In my own garage I have just found my kit car which I originally built 20 years ago. A Nelson 350S (a puffed up 7 type)
It has sat in bits for the last few years with much of it brand new. It has been hardly visible, literally buried under boaty stuff and junk .
The Rover V8 lump is up on a bench at the end, begging to have a 'birthday' and for someone to help me get it and the rest of the car, back together AND SHARE USE FREE/GRATTIS/AT NO COST OTHER THAN A WILLING HELPER MECHANIC?
I just don't have enough expertise on my own. When I built her I had helpers galore in a former life.

This is a serious offer. Nothing to pay and FREE use of this beast

err well like most of us a garage is a place to shove stuff away

I have a new double garage to put up its for my remote control planes and balsa bashing
I treat my land as a garage lol its got a library bus motobikes the odd boat bit most types of equipment every thing from welding to woodwork trailers and so on

She looks a 'beaut'!
It does have that 'French' look about it .... a small bonnet size relative to the size of the saloon and body... is she up and running?
I bet passengers feel very important sat in the back?
