After getting excited about the new Zodiac RIB NZO, it only comes in Petrol, which is a bit of an issue around the North West coastline and Anglesey, and I am not sure I want to heave containers of petrol everywhere.

Is there a 21ft ish Cuddy sports boat that has a deisel engine, cant seem to find anything that small?

Even though I can tow it, most of the summer I am hoping to leave it in one place like PD or Holyhead, so fuelling is important.

Any ideas welcome

We really struggled when we were looking for something similar a few years back to run around in, did find the odd Skibsplast etc... It's more about finding one and deciding if you want it, than choosing a make/model. Unless your buying new with a wadge of cash, in which case I'd be looking as the fast fishers. MF etc...

The best are Monterey 218, Searay 225, Chapparal 215 SSi and Fourwinns S215.

All are good quality and capable cuddies. A Chapparal 205SSe cuddy took me from Poole to alderney so very capable. All available in diesel although Monterey 218 most plentiful and chaparral as well.

Cheers

I think the Maxum 2100SC comes with a diesel option. As the owner of a 20 foot cuddy sports boat though, I would advise against it. It will quickly become too small for you. Better off with a 24 footer or even 26 - 28.

If it starts to rain and you have had a drink, you are stuck on the boat with absolutly nothing to do except huddle under the covers. I speak from experience.

Maxum

I didnt realise the Maxum came with a diesel option, I will do some more digging around. I know what you say about size, but it has to be towable and easy to get in and out, and I found 21ft seems to be bleeding heavy but do-able

Thanks to all the PM'ed me as well

Fletcher's 19GTS Sportscruiser is available with a diesel option.

Great boat, but as mentioned earlier, we quickly out grew it in the desire for something more spacious/comfortable.

have been towing 21ft, 24ft and now 26ft (29ftloa)
ones you know the best technique, length doesn't make much difference

trailer and car must be up for the job, and in good condition.

would never go back to a 21ft boat,
so used to more space on the boat
afcause depends on how much peeps you have on board,
but very often, more peeps is more fun

thats the reason why I absolutely don't like these Ribs with a cabin,
these boats have so much volume, and so little space
