Whatever happened to that yacht

comme motorboat, a sort of forerunner of the Macgregor 26, that was designed and built in southern England (Southampton University designed?) about 20-25 years ago? I cannot remember her name but she was about 30ft overall and was fitted with a 140hp Volvo petrol engine with a Z drive. When sailing all looked as in sail boat mode. When pressed for time, the owner turned akey on the dash and a flap/trapdoor in the bottom opened hydraulicly and the leg lowered, at the same time two wedges came out on her quarters to give lift at speed. A button started the engine and away she went. I believe she went to America....anybody know?

don\'t know but

I think she was called the MRCB (multi-role cruising boat) or something like that. I've never seen one though.

Theres one beside me in Fareham. The owner tells me he gets 15 kts easily. Ill take some pix when I get the chance.
