What word do you hate most.....

serious post actually

You have listed but two collguial/solang terms for females. Almost ALL of these are derogatory, whilst almost all those for males are not.

slapper, tart, hen, chick, bird, skirt, slag, slut, bimbo, blonde etc etc

bloke, chap, guy, geezer, mate etc etc

see? Even the language is sexist. So, may as well stop being too precious about chairperson etc, praps, mebbe...

Just don't go across the Tay bridge to Dundee, then you wo'nt get called "hen"
Us Fifers are far more civilised,. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Americanisms.....24/7 that kinda thing. Normally used by the sort of people that frequent mid morning chat/problem tv progs such as Trisha. Do people like that really exist? Surely its staged!

"Yerknow" every 4th word in a conversation when you have asked a question because you don't know. Or at any other time for that matter.

Also "In this day and age", meaning Now. Why are people so long winded?

I hate being called OUR KID especially when I am not related to that person in any way.

I had this guy come round to do carpets once and he said alright our kid how can I help you I thought ok thats once and I will let him off when it happens three times I will get rid of him good price or not.

As it happens on the third time I got rid of him and his oh so special cant be beaten price was knocked down without hesitance by another person who called me our kid ............but only once !

Well, I myself personally, think that at the end of the day, we should all be leveraging the synergies and picking the low-hanging fruit. When making posts such as this, you have to be inclusive in this day and age, so as not to offend any given minority member of our society, because, when it comes to the cruch, at the end of the day......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Any words from the mouths of politicians (esp "New" Labour) should feature in this thread

Not a word, but the expression "turned around".

He turned round and said I couldn't have it.

So I turned around to him and said, you must be joking.

And he turned around and said, I am not joking.

Julie overheard this and the next thing was she turned around and said she wanted one too.

Well Neil couldn't believe it so he turned around and said....
