That’s a very good point. All the data would be there but I’m not sure if my Triton2 has AIS alarms, but that would not be a serious problem in good vis.

Yes it does. I don’t have a fixed plotter. I have full triton2 and ais transponder on n2k all wifi connected to the iPad.

Sounds better and better. I have the same set up plus an old 5 inch plotter with a recently failed memory.

I’ll check out the AIS alarms when I get back to the boat
