What type of glue?

I have some insulation which I want to use around our fridge, but when I tried as small piece as a test the Evo stick glue that I was using ate the material. Any thought on what sort of glue I should use?

Vinyl flooring adhesive. Very strong and solvent free.

Gorilla Glue is safe on some / most foams.

Any construction adhesive sealant will do.

CT 1 would do it, bit of an overkill but every boat should have a tube on board, so useful.
