What treatment for diesel

Having seen the thread (poll) on diesel treatment, having voted No. It has got me thinking whether I should treat my diesel. So my question is what is the treatment of choice out there.

If you can get your local garage to sell you some, Millers Eclipse is the stuff used by the professionals.
Its available as a single shot bug killer and a continual use 1L bottle. (added at 1:1000).
Due to HSE & COSHH its not available to consumers directly and that alone tells you its serious stuff..
I have it in the boat tanks and camper.

Actually Fuel Set works for me having had minor infestation for years.

BUT I can't get my head around how 4000:1 dilution could work. Not only that, but how does such a tiny quantity actually get to reach places that others can't....
