We went to this soft play place with AJ and E yesterday and it was fantastic! Ours are 18 months and 3 but I think it would be good for up to 10 year olds. Typically it was heaving on a wet bank holiday Monday but was still plenty of space for the kids to have fun. Just about enough space for the mums and dads to sit down. Food looked good but we decided to opt for biscuits and cakes as they were clearly struggling to keep up with the bank holiday demand. They seemed shocked at the number of people in the place so I guess it is usually much quieter. We drove but have now found a short cut to walk from the marina. Can definitely recommend this for families looking for something to do with kids if stuck in Burnham due to bad weather.

That looks good. I wish it had been there when ours were that age.
We used to give them some bacon rind on a string and make them go crabbing, while we sat in the Anchor or White Harte. That's more character building!:)

Books are great, our kids love them. But they also need space to run jump and play, and particularly at toddler age, space to be independent and have some freedom. All of which is lacking on a boat in the rain. Usually stay away from these places but in this instance it was worth every penny.
