What to do this weekend ?

Come on EA, where are you??? Get down here to Hampton Court with your new speed radar thingies !
These trip boat operators really do need to tell their skippers to observe the speed limit and a lesson in courtesy when passing moored boats would be a good idea!

Mornin' all. Woke up to sunshine and blue skies but now cloding over rapidly with a strong indication of rain to come,
After yesterdays surprisingly empty moorings late arrivals are now, apparently, all intent on disturbing the peace with generators.
Here comes the rain .....

So to sum up, variable weather, speeding trip boats and noisy generators, marks out of 10?;)

It was lovely up here yesterday, I saw one other cabin cruiser move. Then an early bird narrow boat went past this morning, as I cooked a tin of all day breakfast. No generators were heard but the farmer put cows in to the field opposite and they moo a bit. The best part was sufficient wind yesterday lunch time to make my ramming of the mooring by the pub almost excusable.

Plus my son is now tall enough to see where he is steering - providing he is on the kitchen step I bought him from the pound shop.

Come upstream where it's lovely. Actually don't!

Just joking.

I have a dream that one day I shall have enough time, (and weather), to take the tiny Moxon down to Windsor and back. So I'll say no more in case I ever get down there. Except to ask where I can buy some fancy coloured gloves to wear when holding ropes in a lock...
