I think all it means is that we like to see a fight. The u/w light thread was sure to start a punch up between crusty old baggywrinkles like searush and bling queens like jfm so it was always going to be must see viewing.

Entirely right. Lots of views means it's entertaining. FFS why else would we post on here?

err, unless needing to know what to spend our ill-gotten gains on next, or how to fix a broken gizmo, or which boat to buy . . .

Doug, no he won't because I've just bought a nice set of blue Lumishore u/w lights so I'm about to become a bling queen myself I'm a cheapskate though because mine are the poverty spec ones that don't change colour

Does this mean that we are all conceited or just plain exhibitionists.(jfm) ?

Obviously one of these is unnecessary, expensive and pure indulgence whereas the other one is underwater lights.
Perhaps I should start a thread called:
Do I need underwater lights to cross the channel

a. I've been following both threads (too sad...)
b. I'm slowly persuaded that there is a strong case of using them (I mean the UW lights!) in the med

I'd like to note that:

UW lights is 161posts and 6845views in 12days or 14posts/day and 570views/day

further UW lights is a dead(ish) thread down to p2, and radar is still going strong.

I should also get the stats for searush posts on each thread but tbh cannot be arsed and wouldn't prove any point

Maybe its because radar sends out the right signals and underwater lights is a subject many people need more light throwing on.

I have an underwater camera complete with probe which is waterproof to 25M if you need it.
