discuss to ensure being reprinted in the Scuttlebutt Chat forum section in the next issue of Yachting Monthly?

They have chosen geriatric yachting in the latest issue. A subject relevant to the average Scuttlebutt forum participant, I am sure /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So, what else would the editors find irresistable to include in their magazine?

How about ''the best positions for couples to assume when co-sharing an average forward vee-berth?''
Or
''Best ways of serving up tinned food like FB pies?'' /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It needs to be a subject which will be relevant for when that Mag hits the streets. If the deadline is say 5 weeks before publication then you'll be looking at a January issue, or possibly even February.
A discussion on the best way to keep the daffodil planters against the toe-rails in stormy weather would be a start.

Yes, I remember, especially the nice hair /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But you must admit that there are several geriatrics on the forums; I am sure you can think of some?

Does anyone put together a boaty xmas wish list to pass around???

I have had boaty things bought for me, but only what I have asked for. Last year a new sea toilet was one... oh how xmas has changed from when I was a little kid /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Somewhat difficult to wrap up and place under the Christmas Tree and still retain an element of surprise I would suggest......... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think a new spinnaker pole my also be difficult to conceal, as would an anchor.

For this year, swmbo and I are going for a combined present of a FOLDING PROP!!!!!!!!!!....how sad is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
