. Looks like it's been the victim of ITV's 60 minute makeover.
Would be a good idea for a boat themed TV show that, where they rip out the net curtains and do someone's boat up on a theme. They could call it 'Changing Brooms'.

Described as a paddle steamer but in this old pictures she seems to be a screw driven steam boat

The boat you are talking about is the New Southern Belle. The Yarmouth Belle has the paddles on the side.She is a pig to stear as the paddles are forward of the centre point .
