What small Yacht is this?

The pic won't expand for me, but I must say she looks more Etap; however if she's called Goodness Knows she's a GK29, as mentioned they have a tradition of names beginning with G & K, after the race winning prototype ' Giant Killer '.

I remember names like ' Get Kracking ' & ' Get Knotted ' - a chum wanted to buy one just so he could call it ' Ginger K**t ' :)

The one I like is 1/2 way up the Hamble and is called Chesterton. Took me 2 or 3 takes to get it then loved the subtlety.

From the WOA site…
"Owners were inventive with their boat names choosing the GK for titles for example: Ginger Knut, Giddy Kipper, Good Knight, Get Knotted, Goodness Knows etc., etc"

I remember one (I think) called Granny's Knickers and another called Grockle Knocker.

Or was it Granny's Knockers and Grockle Knickers?

I think that's just because she's heeling away from the camera a bit, and has the 80s racer lozenge-shaped waterplane.

Pete

Didn't look heeled to me but you could be right. Having said that, if you are right then surely the deck would dip in the middle when not heeled looking at the distance from side deck to top of cove line?

I remember 'Grockle Knocker' well. I was looking to buy a yacht many years ago and it was up for sale. I was actually looking for a Contessa 32 but nearly got swayed when I saw the GK29. I wonder if it has been renamed - is there a register?
