I have just fitted a 15l calorifier together with a 17psi, 10l/min pump. All standard stuff. So what shower head do I get that gives a reasonable shower but without clearing the tank in minutes few! I'm not expecting the world and just want to be able to get in, wash and get out again without too much fuss. One with the option of a trigger on the shower head may be a good idea provided it can be left on if wished without holding it if required. Thanks

try a caravan shop

We got ours from what was Yachtparts but I believe that they are commonly available. They have a switch on them so that you can set the temp and have a quick sluice down and turn the water off while you soap yourself all over, then turn the head back on to rinse off. Very economical on water if you are disciplined in its use.

The heads are like these:

It depends on whether you have a mixer-tap or not. if you have a mixer, then a simple head will suffice, but if not, then a shower-head with an on-off control will save a lot of water, from the time spent getting the mix right each time you have a squirt.

We bought a shower-head with control at a boat show some years ago but it has no brand marked on it, but something like it would be worth seeking out at a boat or camping shop.

even allowing for mixing of cold water, that means a shower of just a couple of mins continuous. so you do need one with a trigger but they are freely available and certainly allow you to leave the shower on if you want. dont forget the electric bilge pump to empty the shower sump with a switch you can get at when wet.

I was looking to see if anyone made bidets for caravans or boats (they do) but I happened across a device called a "Muslim Shower" which looks ideal for a general shower head, an example here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190843075012

I just ordered one from your link to replace the plastic deck shower head which will go the way of all plastic in the sun. I'll let you know :)

The one in the eBay link is also made of plastic :)

At £5 including postage it could hardly be made of anything else!

Maybe the microns-thick "chrome" plating will protect it slightly from the sun, but on the other hand it will no doubt be made of the thinnest, shoddiest plastic so might break sooner than your original.
