Is it just as hot and stuffy at the BS this year? The LBS is held during one of the coldest months of the year so you have to wrap up snuggly and warm, then once inside you have to start peeling off layers and leaving enough clothes in the cloakroom to keep the Russian army warm.

Then there's footwear. Do you wear your oldest, comfiest, well past their sell-by date boat shoes, only to have the snotty sales people look down their nose at you. Or do you wear a pair of your best, take them off to look round superyacht, come out and find that someone's made off with them leaving their oldest, comfiest, well past their sell-by date boat shoes in their place.

Stout walking shoes and a smile. Best you bring a trolly to carry the books and useless stuff John and pick up or buy. Oh and bring along a copy of the rules I sent you yesterday for reference in case of a disagreement. :)

Re: Wheelchair

It worked very well when we went round a museum with Mrs S in a wheelchair cos she had slightly done her leg in. Right to the front. Down or up the stairs I tolder to walk which got some weird looks - to counteract this, Mr B should shout out "It's a Miracle!"" each time you stand up, walk around some boats, then plonk down ready to move off again. I beleive you can borrow the chairs from reception, so call ahead to book.
