Took this leaving Sovereign on the way to France. I thought it was stuck in the lock but later we heard him speaking to the coastguard. I think she may have been picking up passengers ? Had over 300 onboard.

She is a "day tripper" operated by the same people who run The Waverley, the only ocean going paddle steamer in the world.
We often see her/them in the Bristol Channel and Bristol City DOcks.
Lovely old boat but looks a bit scruffy up close!

Yes - ashe also visits Ilfracombe on a regular basis.

She was picking up passengers on her way round to the Thames. A couple of friends of mine joined at Sov Hbr and had a thoroughly good day.
