What next skipper?

You are taking part in a race and in last place, you pull into a harbour to repair the rudder, during this time you suffer a bout of sickness, are robbed of your electronic navigation and comms equipment and then as you prepare to leave to continue the race the keel falls off your boat.

If you can find the missing keel (whilst not actually know where it is...) you could fix it back on, by this time if you re-enter the race the only way you have of not finishing last by quite a margin is if all other competitors do not finish.

What next?

I'd read Twister_Ken's thread and then make a decision to stay in Fortaleza for the maximum of 6 months that the Brazilian tourist visa allows.
