What marina in Falmouth

Hi,
I need to leave my boat unattended in Falmouth for 2-3 weeks in May this year and wondered if there were any recomendations. Primary considerations are security, cost and facilities in that order.

I have been to Falmouth a couple of times but only ever stayed in the visitors yacht haven.

Any thoughts...??

Port Pendennis Marina 01326 211211has excellent security and is situated in the center of town . Easy walking distance to train station etc. Have stayed there several times .

Although a bit further out of the town centre, also consider Falmouth Marina, which is very weather protected by being up the Penryn river. About half and half berths in deep water and within a sill. As for price, I don't know, but worth contacting them.

Again, it has good security - and a stones throw from Rustler's yard, Lidl's and Sainsbury's. As well as its' own restaurant, a good fish & chip shop up the hill.

Is that the one from which the Park 'n' Float service runs to the town?

I like Mylor - It's a trek to town (i.e. it's a taxi ride) but proper yard, lovely setting.

That's the one, or you can walk about 200yds to the nearby car-park (Rustlers yard) and get either the boat or bus.

There is a small chandler in Falmouth Marina yard, in the container. Better than normal chandlery prices.
