What kind of outboard bracket is this?

AT the Beaulieu boat show I bought a Redshank dinghy with the accessories including an unused outboard bracket. See photo.

It won't fit the Redshank and has never been used. The metal frame is completely the wrong size and shape. Does anyone know what it's for? I'd like to sell it to raise funds for the right brackets and a nice Yamaha Malta!!

It's different to the standard Avon Redstart, Redcrest etc ones. The top mountings of those are wider apart than the main frame.
It is however the same as the one for my (Avon) Typhoon. Same colour too.

top mountings are approx 12cm apart, bottom ones approx 25 cm apart.

tis an avon bracket if it dont fit , move the pads , thats what i did , piece of p!$$ to do , heat old pads on inflated boat carefully with hairdryer or heat gun (v carefull ) , peel off when glue softens , clean off old glue with glue remover , refit in correct position with avon repair adhesive , job done , simples , very , I did this on a redstart to great effect , no problems at all .

Now that is a cruisers solution!

Thank you very much for this identification, and the measurements. I'm in Norway now, but will measure it when I get home at the end of the week.
