What is your favourite sport fisher?

I know American boats tend to be stereotyped as ugly with odd proportions and just generally hideous to the eye. I think that reputation isn't really fair, but true or not, there is a class of boats made in the US that I do admire, at least aesthetically, the sport fisher. Their long foredecks just made them look good. Yeah, I know the sport fisher isn't exclusively an American-only type boat, other manufacturers in other countries build them too (i.e. Australia's Maritimo and Riviera), but the US do excel in making them. Bertram, Viking, Hatteras, Jarrett Bay, Bayliss Boatworks etc, all make fine sport fishers. I personally was never that good at fishing and just didn't have the patience for it, and I don't like that you can't drive from the saloon (and there are often no forward facing windows anyway), so I probably won't buy one even if I can afford one, haha. But I can certainly admire their looks and fine seakeeping qualities.

So, what is your favourite sport fisher?

This one takes some beating, and just the job for the Thames Estuary chop. We own it so that could possibly sway our vote. LOL

What is she?
She looks a very capable boat.

Cracking collection of roach poles ;)

Edit: I must remember to check profiles before asking.

If money was no object, would go for a Rodman 1250 fisher pro for UK waters.
Always liked the look of them, no idea what there actually like thou, and I still wouldn't catch anything!

Call me Old School but some of the earlier American sports fishers had much sleeker lines than modern counterparts. Here is my 93 model Trophy that I kept for 19 years and never found anything to match her for looks. I have now gone for a more rugged semi-d but I did like my Trophy...

I would have bought a Rodman last month if it hadn't been for those Volvo IPS units - How an experienced company like Rodman could have been suckered into being an early adopter of those things I will never understand.
