Turmoil would be very high on my list. Actually it is anchored a couple of hundred meters from us at the moment. Looks like a true go-anywhere type of ship. Cruising range of 6500 miles would be a nice start /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Btw, we are here in case you were wondering.

Fup ye and ye're big fancy boats!

I'm sitting here in still water (gale winds promised yet I decided to brave it knowing that I could get shelter quick should the weather take a turn), girliefriend just cooked me a lovely Chicken Korma n Rice so i'm full. Chilling out in my little dinky S23, with laptop, girliefriend, JD & Coke (in that order) - sure isin't life grand? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Oh and to add some friends just pulled up in their 42' Dutch Cruiser and they're off getting firewood as we speak - Oh and i've the Erberspracher running /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

(God help this hangover that's going to kick in at about 07.00 hrs) /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thats great to hear Niall, I hope you got the bog fixed!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd be happy with any boat at the moment!!!

Have fun with the JD, the girlfriend and the boat! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheers

Al.

Blimey, are there enough lakes round your way?

How does Turmoil get out to sea? I don't see any water link between Savonlinna and the sea?

Actually I just recently realized that Lake Saimaa has over 3000 km of charted routes for boating. Connection to sea is via Saimaa canal which begins from Lappeenranta .

I must do a post 'boating in the most eastern waters of europe' sometime.

Looks like a very interesting place to go boating.

Are there charters there?

Surprisingly, while you can't fly non-stop from Hong Kong to Spain, there are daily flights to Helsinki.

That Askeladden is nice too. Something else I'd never seen!

I like the doors to the cockpit especially. Rather have them than the outdoor helm on a targa.

Not so sure about the roof after a few years of pounding though...

Mark - after posting all those wonderful pictures of Magnum and the beautiful choice of colours, you post a picture of THAT !!!! God damn ugly . . . .
Obviously your SWMBO was was responsible for the Magnim choices not you. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
