If the valves need checking it's all the settee and floor up .

No it isn't. The carpet lifts out then you remove two flat hatches in the floor, one of whose corners tucks under the settee. The settee stays put, as you well know Paul! (I agree p57 is easier of course but valves on later d12 are 1000hrs so not really a big deal)

Urgh. Still not my idea of e/r accessibility, even if valve check only required every 1k hours....
Better use a helmet to move around down there, I suppose?
