Got the option to upgrade the rib on Seralia.

Current boat is a fairly recent (1-2 year old) Zodiac around 3m with a 9.9Hp motor and remote fuel tank etc.

Best pic I have

I have zero idea about this sort of thing but can someone advise what sort of money it might be worth.

It's a YL310R or YL340R and I think is probably more than 1-2 years old. I just virtually gave mine away at 8 years old because the tubes separated from the hull (glue failed), so if you have the opportunity to chop it in before it does the same then I'd take it.

I'd say it's probably worth £2k with the outboard, in good condition

Good spot on the model, I didn't pay it much attention when buying the boat. Age was based on what the owner said - so you're probably right though by my very casual observance it seemed to be in good nick

£2k would be a result. I was hoping for somewhere between £1k and £1500

The RIB/outboard combo would be about £4k new, so I just halved it as a rough guide

New the engine would be like 3000-3900 Euros (2015 prices), depending on specs, I assume it's a Mercury or Yamaha.
The Zodiac price will mainly depend on the deck type

I bought a 2th hand 2y old Zodiac Cadet 2.8 solid (wooden panel floor, 2 air chambers) for 500 Euros this summer for the kids to fool around in. I can get it inflated or deflated in 15 minutes (that is from taking bag out of boot of car till ready to run and vice versa).

Dutch prices for new can be found here http://www.josboone.nl/dynamisch/prijslijsten/83_2_NL_prijslijst_zodiacrubberboot150723.pdf
A new 310 Zodiac is between 1400 and 2000 Euros new so 2k with outboard is a little high in my book.

I hope that's a good indicator for you.

EDIT: I must add the wife is a master haggler, so I might be biased on prices.

It's a RIB with GRP hull, not an inflated air deck or slatted floor boat

So if your paying €500 for a soft floor £1k-£1.5k doesn't sound too far off for a hard rib with motor.

I paid £2250 for a YL340R in 2007, and a quick google showed a new Yam 9.9 sells at £1800. I think it's a Hypalon RIB, so value a bit higher than similar in PVC

Nice try but you have even put your "valuation" on it again very subtle, I don't for a minute think that it is a fishing expedition for all the Brits in Sant Carles.

who really cares? if the post is offending you, press the button and let the moderators decide if it's breaking any rules, meanwhile give some thought to getting a life FFS!

When/if I want to advertise it to the sant carles lot I shall do so on the dedicated SCM forum.
Much more effective

By all means report this to the mods.

Oh dear I merely stated it was a subtle advert, I must have hit a raw nerve going by the response, and I certainly don't need an invitation from you to report to the Mods.
