Hi I am trying to find out what type of boat I have. can anyone suggest where i can find out some information.

It is a 20' rivited aluminium flat bottomed Day/Fishing boat. it has a GRP sliding roof with a engine compartment at the rear which is accessed buy two large hatches. It was suggested to me that it was made on the Norfolk broads in the late 70's and is called possibly a Pearly Mist or something simmilar. It has a Dowty Marine Water Jet fitted linked to a early 80's Ford 2.8 v6 petrol engine which has the badge Bowman Marine on although this is not it original setup.

I have a picture if anyone can help.

All replys gratefully recived

Sounds like a Pearly Miss, so very nearly right.

Try the CMBA website <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.classicboat.org.uk/index.htm>http://www.classicboat.org.uk/index.htm</A> for info

They had rivetted ali hulls I think. Also try contacting Byron on the mby and mbm forum as he has extensive knowledge of this sort of question plus a foto will help and could be hosted on user 'boatone' website.
