Many thanks for this clarification. I find what PBO's Electrics Afloat says on the matter is quite confusing. The marina now says that the problem lies in a faulty RCD (or whatever they have) not in the boats. It set off an alarm with a flashing red light. Their electrician is writing a report to say that it is safe. I will post their reply when I get it.
