What has santa brought you for next season

:D We had that problem compounded by a dated colour scheme and then matching linen. Admiral still changes things regularly its all part of the fun. She'll do it all again next season as I rip out and recover soft furnishing , carpet etc with something more modern and subtle. Blimmin American tastes (yank boat). Garish!

A weekend ticket for the Sark Folk Festival from #3 son, who will definitely be mentioned in my will.
(I got ERRORs when applying online, and it's been a sell-out within minutes the last three years, so there's little room for manoeuvre)

Well after 3 years I have most of it already, but a very useful magnifier with light for during night hours was in my stocking, and it's incredibly practical I have to say.

a mobo out at night impresive ,that could be a new thread

You don't go out at night Roy? Conwy Bay is at it's most impressive at night. Highly recommended. Just not when perched atop the sand bank in a little boat, or big for that matter. That night wasn't so cool, but damn the fishing was excellent in the pools left behind.

living and learning the hardway just yards short of the channel :p

I asked Santa for a less windy season with plenty of sun.

Did he leave you a copy of this?

We've just bought our first boat, completed Christmas Eve. We are based inthe Solent so don't put a downer on the good ole English weather for us already;-).......

Weather only affects you if you are too far away to be on the boat to sieze every opportunity. Plenty of good days this last season and when we couldn't get out we camped aboard, drank merrily and had good times too. Don't fret, things must be peachy if weather is the worst moan.

Congratulations on the new boat Carianne. We have enjoyed many many years boating in the UK, Im sure you will too. For us, the move to the Med is the next phase in our boating life now that we have the time available to do it. The sunshine is a bonus, but IMO you can't beat boating as a pastime, wherever you choose to do it.
