I have a seaworthy boat 1972 vintage with relatively new engine sails etc which has been on Appollo Duck, Boatshed etc for almost a year and apart from two people showing serious interest no sale has taken place.
As with many boats of this age it has mild osmosis and as a result I have dropped the asking price by the amount it would cost to treat the hull to the point where I am almost giving it away.
As it is now costing money to store I am thinking of scrapping it but the only scrap yard seems to be in Gosport and I am not sure about that yard.
Does anyone know where I could sail the boat to in order to draw a line under it.
