What happened to the Minelayer in Whitewall Creek on the Medway ?

There used to be a timber vessel lying in a creek, think it was Whitewall Creek in the River Medway, understood that it was a Mine Layer because of its Timber construction, not effected by Magnetic Mines ?

I recall people cutting lengths of Timber off of it, never really found out why, other boat repairs I hoped rather than Fire Wood, it was near the site of what became the Medway Tunnel
