What happened next?

My guess is a bit of impaling on the part of White Hull.
But then again I am not looking at it from a rules of the road perspective, but rather the rules of the 'Blackwater racing' method of sailing.

Very pleasant to pass you today RG, TG looked very pretty making her way out. You dont know me but I feel I know you thorugh the mighty tome what is the Crossing the Thames book of numbers.

Green/white topsl alters drastically and the white gaffer on port tack goes BETWEEN the two of them?
Unless the photo is misleading, the white gaffer on port is being a bit rude,to say the least, IMHO!

I'd like to know why the Old Gaffers race towing dinghies. Is it a handicapping system: 'ere Jerry you won last time so you tow you dinghy this time. Peter you had a scrub so you best tow your dinghy and we want a 4HP outboard on it.'

Looks like they could all just stand on and whitey on port would scrape between the two small ones.
edited to add, posted before the second photo appeared on my screen :)

Ever done R T I?

Its like that all the way uphill... but with twenty boats each side... scraping the back of one whilst someone almost scrapes your back as you go between them...
