What good books for the Thames should I buy?

Ebay for an old Nicholson OS Guide to the river thames.

Lovely little book, very informative, and even if a bit out of date, little has changed!

Item no 250834818138 for example. Just a couple of quid....:D

Nope, not me! I have one at home, and one on the Boat.

It gives maps, distances and all other stuff you might need...

Great thanks. Just bought one on ebay. :)

Bother!

Chris Cove-Smith's The River Thames Guide is much better (IMO) than the dreaded Nicholsons. (Actually they compliment each other - more river detail in Cc-S). Available from amazon; and it's a later edition.

Imray - The River Thames Book

Hi Honey Mommy

I have a copy of the The River Thames Book by Chris Cove-Smith published by Imray in 1998 - ISBN 0 85288 399 4 - in good condition on my bookcase.

It maybe a little out of date, but still makes interesting reading.

Yours for the cost of the postage, send me a PM if you are interested.
