Just a yellow duster, but in Guernsey, the customs guys jump on you before you have a chance to moor up /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Each Island has its' own ensign.

It is acceptable to fly just the standard British ensign.

But do not fly the Guernsey flag in Jersey, or the Jersey flag in Alderney or similar.

If you are a British vessel then the Red (or blue or white if qualified) Ensign is the correct ensign. The courtesy flags are just a nice touch, as Snowleopard says, and hoisting one reminds you to take down the French one.

PS Is that a new Avatar Snowleopard? He is a fine looking feline!

I've had a few polite visits alongside over the years, never boarded. Last time it was a gal, but agree post the form and take the Q flag down.
