What do you spray on your engine to stop corrosion?

I lightly brush on Corrosion Block. Cheaper that way. CB also good on electrics, good releasing oil and lubricant. One bottle lasts years.

Not so much for engines or electrics where 'Fospro' or WD is used,but the RNLI spray their launching vehicles and trailors with 'Ensis' after immersion in the sea.It works well.

My Volvo 2002 grey gearbox now getting a bit rusty to, shall I paint it? Or just spray with CB or ACF50( I have never use one of those before)

ACF 50 available via amazon ... once you have used it for most boat items you wont want anything eise

I'll stick with WD40. Works for me and can be bought everywhere. Spray it on and leave it!

+1 for WD40 - been fine on my engines for over 25 years

+1 ACF50 - utterly superb for a motorbike - if it works on that it will work on anything

GT85 is quite good.
Get it clean! Wash it down to remove any dirt which will hold salt and water.
A strong solution of wash'n'wax works for that.
A drop of 3 in 1 on all the threads.

+1 for keeping the bilge dry.
Sort those little leaks.
