What do you do on your day off?

For the first time in months Jon and I have had a day off. What shall we do we thought? Given that Jon had spent Saturday in the North of England moderating a trainers course and I had been teaching down here in the Solent.

Well, after some discussion we decided to.....................................................................................................................................










go boating.

Then it was Jon's turn........

Then it was back to Warsash for some "light" refreshment at the Rising Sun.

It was great /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Topped out at about 65 mph, but then the race prop was not on and no water ballast - so really we were not in full race mode. Going into turns is awesome - grips like [--word removed--] to a blanket and boy! Do those buoys get close /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yup! I also had the priveldege of going in Shelly's V24 when she raced in that series.

How did we miss you guys - we went over to Ryde for a couple of hours (after work - no shirkers here) and Shelley was getting back into her boat at Warsash as we arrived back. What a fantastic evening - Mananan'a finally all back together and the new drive's nearly run in, don't think we had quite as much fun as you tho!
