If you did then register at sometime then you can access your licence to make changes, add equipment or revalidate it after 10yrs at no cost.(I think its 10) all on line. (IIRC there are some changes though that must be done by post....You'll find all the info on the website)

If you have not yet got the lifetime version wait until you have because the old one won't be on line.

Without trawling through the whole thing yet again my guess is that you cannot change the boat name online but you may be able to do it by post for free but more likely at a £20 cost. The licence is not transferable to another vessel and I can't see what would distinguish a name change from a vessel change.

I think the best bet is to phone them for advice. They have generally been helpful on the phone by all accounts. They'll send you the form if a postal approach is needed
