I fear my wife knows me too well :eek:

Been a bit hectic since the weekend so it was this evening before we actually managed to have a conversation that ran to more than "morning dear" or "byee"!

And she said to me, yes, she actually said to me ...

"So, what did you promise you'd do"?

I inquired as to what she could possibly mean and apparently I stand accused of invariably promising to help somebody else with something or other instead of doing the things I ought to be doing (aka the things the wife wants me to do!)

So, I am left wondering, cos a drinky or three had passed my lips I do confess ....

What did I promise to do???? :D

Her, yes. That goes without saying if I want to retain my husbandly priveleges (one day I might even find out what they are)

The point at issue is apparently what I might have promised to do for other people - doubt if I promised to obey anybody (I wasn't THAT pissed! :D)

Too late on the outboard front. There WILL be a price to be paid for that one but it's a done deal :D

The beers should be no problem :cool:

Oh yes, the electrickery lesson. I knew there was something! And wasn't there something about trial sail on a small boat in that equation too I seem to recall? Reckon I can probably sneak them in without too much grief if I'm careful ;)

Ah, umm, yes. I did mutter something along those lines when the outcome of a downwind sail and a fistful of sandwich was a mouth full of hair now you remind me of it. Still, steady on, gonna have to think about that one :eek:
