To go back to the point of Steve's post, to me, she's a cracking looking boat with a great spec, but perhaps "old fashioned" full keeled boats, probably not very beamy, aren't what a lot of people are looking for nowadays. It's the "invisible hand" again. Perhaps the big brand names give a level of comfort and spaciousness that MABs cannot, and that this is now a deciding factor for many.
Personally, I prefer the more traditional lines. If I wanted a good solid boat for all conditions, I'd feel happy with "Battle".
I presume this is also advertised in the CA mag - a great source for some real heavy duty boats imho.
