What cost standing rigging?

Any rough pointers on how much replacing standing rigging is likely to cost on a 27 footer?

Wiring is mostly fifteen years old, except forestay which is ten. Although mast (Kemp Selden) only about 30ft with single spreaders, shrouds include two lowers and there are two backstays and an inner forestay - and thicker diameter of wire more appropriate to a yacht ten foot longer.

On the same boat as you have I paid £1400 plus VAT for full replacement (excluding forestay which had already been replaced the previous year) that included all materials and fitting and was done just over a year ago November 2018; lift, storage and relaunch added another £200. As I had it done by a rigger I paid VAT on that. PM me if you want to know who I used.

If I include the forestay, that's around £1,500 plus VAT = £1,800. She's coming out for a month for the first time in four years anyway, so I can console myself with the false idea that I don't have to add the cost of that to the re-rig! ?

The cost for materials for replacing each stay is approx £130. So, for 8 wire stays is approx £1,000 plus labour for one day.

I just paid £1350 for new rigging and guard wires on my 30 ft Kingfisher. Very happy not to have had to do it myself as we were moving.
