I am looking for some advice on chartplotters, im looking at the raychart 400, eagle SeaCharter 500C, lowrance LMS-339C DF, LOWRANCE LMS-332. the reason for picking these ones are that i already have a navionics xl3 card, would prefer a model with built in antena to save wireing and removal if change boat, anyone got any of these models or used them? or able to suggest any other models
thanks in advance

In respect to you wanting a built in antenna, just remeber that the ideal position for your chartplotter may not be the ideal position for its antenna. A plotter with an external antenna has much better installation flexibility and shouldn't require any compromise.

Best one by far would be a Garmin 276C. You'd have to buy a new "Blue" chart, but that's only £125 extra... You could sell your XL3 chart and get something back.

I fitted a 276C to my brothers Rinker 232 on the flat bit behind the steering wheel: it fits perfectly and works like a charm. Built in antenna works fine, just hook up the 12v cable to the cigarette lighter socket.
