what can I do with an unused anode - galvanize something?

Avoiding a long tale of why I have a 25 mm shaft anode and two slices of a 30 mm anode, is there anything I can do either practically or ornamentally with a 12v battery, a plastic box and a salt solution? ..... galvanize anything metal or ferrous or non-ferrous ..... can I make my wife's gold wedding ring suddenly, well, zinc-like? I just like to fiddle!

If you are really that bored you can cut them up the same shape as the engine anodes and save a fortune that way . /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif No it really does work . there is no charge for that little chip . I even cut and filed a dinky one to shape for my shaft rope cutter which had gone AWOL .
