What cable size for Jabsco Lite Flush WC

Not sure so I must check. The boat is a 2 yr old Beneteau Oceanis 31 so do any forumites know if it has a busbar?

A 2 year old boat will have some form of distribution arrangement. No offence, but as the boat is almost new and you are unsure how to connect the electrics, would it not be sensible to get someone to do the wiring after you fit the actual toilet ?

much sense spoken:encouragement:

If you can get the cables though the moulding in the heads round to behind your main DC panel stbd side, you can make a connection in there which is isolated when the main switches are turned off.

These are 12V boats so 4mm cable for a small run, ideally tinned and put though a suitable fuse holder with 25A fuse or better still, circuit breaker, fit this behind the panel off the positive busbar of the left hand breakers. If you can get 6mm cable then this would be negligible in price difference and would be more robust or incase you ever fit a bigger toilet.

With the DC panel... Be careful if you have the LCD screen as when you bring the panel forwards, the connections on the back of this can be quite fragile.

Easy enough job if you take your time and make sure you use the correct electrical fittings.

If an electric toilet was a factory option when the boat was new, you may well find that the wiring is already in place - boatbuilders usually use standard wiring looms.
