We have been pondering a different boat, we are in no rush. Life has changed and after nearly 10 years maybe its time a change in boat.

We are thinking smaller ideally 27' or less.

Must Have:
Toilet in own compartment, chemical or sea,
Good Sailing ability, some compromise here if she has good weather protection,
The Ability to make coffee,
3-4 berths and space for dog(s)
Easy ish dog access to below

Desirable not essential:
Shallow draft, lift keel or bilge keel the ability to take the ground.
Possible trail-ability,
An Oven

Things that don't impress us:
Lots of complex systems, water hot and cold, water, electronics etc, we are simple sailors.
New highly polished and high maintenance.

Why are we considering a change or things we got wrong?
The dog hes 40kg's (a rescue even the vet agreed if he got to 25kg he would be surprised :o he carries no fat ), lifting in and out of 5' companion way is a pain, SWMBO is talking of a second :/
Cold, sailing of a winter on present boat is exposed and you get cold real quick, you can put all the gear on but still get cold,
High free-board, misses doesn't like stepping off her even after nearly a decade, it stops her sailing her without me,

Last time we changed boats it took 3 years to find the nearly right boat so lets sat we are not rushing into this.
Forget high value think sub 10k
