Of course the Hot/Cold water connections on my new calorifier are larger than the connections on my old unit.
Anybody suggest what brass adaptors will need to ask for when visiting the plumbing shop .Quick claim the new fittings are sized 1/2" ?
The plastic pipes seem pretty standard piping.

The engine coolant fittings are of course larger as well and existing pipe cannot be forced on new tank connections no matter how much boiling water and brute force applied.
Can certainly cobble up something or is there a "Tang" kit on the market.

Why me :)

Look like standard 1/2” BSP threaded, the same as on sink taps, other size would be 3/4” BSP as on Bath taps, what you will probably need is water tap to 15mm pipe adapters, you can easily get hose tails to fit whatever size hose you what to connect, the pressure relief valve could be the same 1/2” or often 3/8”

All standard plumbing sizes, B&Q, screwfix or wicks etc would all have them

You can use flexible tap connections for those. They are available with 1/2 and 3/4 union one end to 15mm push fit or compression at other end. 300 or 600 long means you can make connections and then move the tank if required.

Its a 1/2 BSP Female 15mm Push fit connector. Slide the ring back and hold it back and it will pull apart and you can re use it.

Double check pipe size.
