What an arse!

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Thank you Albert, but as I was invited here I shall stay if I wish until its conclusion. I do not wish to be the 'star player' as you put it, you could not be further from the truth. Can you really blame Ebay for not caring - no rules are being broken (not on my side anyway) therefore why should they care. Are you sure that it is a case of wasting your time rather than you actually being able to do very little about it? If copyright is placed on this document, then my days would be numbered yes, although I am questionnable as to whether Ebay would remove my listings even then... However I have a fair few to get rid of before I come to that dilemma.

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Paul,

I hope that one day you see a lifeboat save someones life, and then reflect upon your arrogance with a more mature attitude.

It is no wonder that your generation is not held in high regard by older generations if you are an example of what it stands for. You should remember that your benefits are paid for by tax payers, some of whom inhabit this forum. Your attitude, if reflected across your peers will simply result in them leaving in ever greater numbers, and finally, one day you'll wake up and realise that your inflation eroded and ever tighter constrained benefits don't seem such to cover the bills as much as they used to. Your generations choice. Make your decision wisely.

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

My generation is a disgrace; it is full of selfish idiots, criminals, chavs and weirdos. I like to think that I am slightly above them. They will not change anyway, and I agree it is frightening when you think that they will be running the country in the near future. I appreciate you are helping to pay the £28.16 that I receive weekly and council tax and housing benefits and the rest. I do not think you should hold it against me though because that is what it is there for. I am entitled to a lot of the benefit that I receive and I still have 4 part-time jobs and Ebay just to pay for electric and other amenities. Anyway, I don't think that this has any relation to the topic of selling Sea Safety Guides on Ebay

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Well done for holding yer corner. (I think you are wrong to do this - but if your circumstances are as you say, then (IMO) it ain't as serious as some folk here seem to make out)........it's not as if you selling the propellors off the lifeboats or something /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif (are you??? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif).

You could argue that anyone dumb enough to buy from you what is available for free from source perhaps needs a bit more help than a booklet........... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Still I guess it is 50/50 whether in 10 years time we are reading about you in the Sunday Times Rich list..............or the News of the World crime pages /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But then again you could probably have said (still say??!!) that about some of the wide boys on here who make their money screwing far away peasants into the ground..........but that is another thread.............

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

What I don't understand is why someone as eloquent as you, with a writing style and vocabulary that suggests you aren't an idiot would resort to selling very low value items on eBay, and hold down 4 part time jobs. Sure, parts of Cheshire aren't exactly fitted with gold paved streets, but surely there must be some opportunities?. The only conclusion I can reach is that you aren't an attractive proposition to an employer because of your attitude.

By the way, Its quite obvious that you are deliberately trying to wind people up with your posts.....a word of advice on that one.... you are following in the footsteps of some real masters of this genre, and will struggle to match the heights they have reached!

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I am not an attractive proposition to an employer because I have a criminal record. I can't afford to buy other items because I don't have the money to buy them to begin with. Once you have a record it is very difficult to shake it off and the easiest solution is more criminal activity. I have applied to every junior editorial position going but they all say the same predictable thing. Anyway it goes off my record in 3 years...

I think that this thread has run its full length. Good evening

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I don't think many on here believe that your other stock is legally obtained , which is another reason that I've got nothing but contempt for you

Re: Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Dave,

Whats happened to 'The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act'?

Spent is spent, is it not?

Not in my day! Eh?

Because I reported them you prat. Also I am currently committing about 7 types of benefit fraud, as is everyone else in Runcorn.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just because you reported them doesn't mean they were not going to pay...

Likewise you must have an incredible sense of ESP or be very hopeful that the rest of Runcorn is as low as you to rip of the benefits system so much.

Oh and if the offer is there still I d appreciate it if you would PM me your full name and address in order that I can check that the DWP are aware of your fraudulent claims. Oh and while you ll there the index of your car so I can check that it is taxed and insured - I mean thats often the first thing that's 'forgotten' when youre trying to run a car on a budget... I can find it easily enough anyway but it ll save me a bit of time at work if I don't have to search for it. Ta.

Response from the RNLI

I brought this to the attention of the RNLI, here's the answer:

"Thank you very much for your email regarding the sale of our sea safety CD's on
ebay.

We are aware that this is happening. Unfortunately the person doing this is not
breaking the ebay rules or doing anything illegal. Therefore we are unable to
stop them.

This situation has, however promoted our awareness of this kind of thing
happening.

Kind regards

Linda Rogers
Supporter Care Team
Royal National Lifeboat Institution"

Information requested has been provided. Car is of course taxed, insured and MOT'd as I get pulled at least once a week without fail. All benefit claims I possess are completely watertight, whether they are true or otherwise, so good luck with that. The rest of Runcorn is definitely as 'low' as me, almost without exception. Haven't you ever watched Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps?? And are you joking when you say they might of intended to pay? They clearly stated they weren't in an Ebay message to me, which was silly as I just forwarded it straight to Ebay...

Re: Response from the RNLI
