Move BA from Poole to Southsea Marina via overnight in Yarmouth. Really fantastic weekend, warm sunshine, calm seas, loved it.

The end to a perfect day, Saturday somewhere between the Needles and Yarmouth.

Agree, out over the weekend in short sleeved shirt.

One of the best days this year - flat sea, warm sun. Picked up my spirit no end after the misery of the past couple of months.

Very surprised to see all the sand bags around in Cowes high street!

Did not appreciate with spring tides and strong winds this was an issue there...

Couldn't agree more beautiful weekend so calm I could take my speed freak (and nearly 70 year old) Mum flat out despite her bad neck- also discovered fantastic Sunday lunch stop along from Ryde Marina, upstairs at Appley Cafe has started to do excellent lunches (of course with a terrific view). Lets hope for a few more weekends like this!

cheers,

MAtt

Lovely weekend on Medway, too. River like glass and no raggies about. Anchorage all to ourselves and lunch on deck. Blew cobwebs away with a full power sprint against tide home (purely to remove any stray weed) and still pulling max revs/top speed. Maybe the autumn/winter will redeem the season?

Umm, my dirty bum cost me 200 revs and 6.something knots instead of 8. something knots. I guess it has to do with not using the boat for most of the summer. Just sat there in shallow water growing vegetation.
