It was SHE who suggested remaining in commission over the festive season. It was SHE who suggested going sailing over Christmas. It was SHE who knowing that we had family commitments until late on Christmas Eve, suggested setting off on Christmas morning for a couple of days of solitude in Newtown Creek. Once there, it was SHE who served up a 3 course Christmas lunch with Turkey, roast potatoes and 5 additional veg, sausage meat and all the trimmings as the main course, all on 2 burners, grill and oven . What a SWMBO!

Even Yarmouth on the 27th was pleasantly quiet. All rounded off with a lovely sail back to Gosport yesterday. Must do it again. Great Christmas thanks to SWMBO.

I've printed off ypur letter & photos for the benefit of my swmbo, who says if she ever comes down to the boat she will be armed with a drill.

Thats all fantastic, and lovely, being a traditional type of gal meself, (well.. the cooking anyway)

But... in a same but darker vein....?

Perhaps some of you (other) blokies need to get yourself a Surrendered wife /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But...

Hm, it seems that the gravy is in a flippin cup! That's not right is it? And where's the crackers? Sheesh! Tell her from me that she should get that sorted next time. Actually, it would probably be best if you told her yourself, I think...

edit: just seen the crackers on the tree, so that's ok, it's just the gravy in the cup that needs correcting for next time.
