Not normally given to name and shame but...
All I want to do is get my liferaft serviced in a manner which is moderately convenient to me. This means either they collect or I drop the thing off somewhere between Chichester and Southampton.
I tried:
Mayday Marine, Portsmouth. On four separate days the phone just goes through to a message service which cuts off half way through.
Messenger Marine, Emsworth - Phone message says number has been changed. I write it down and it's the same one as Mayday Marine. I try them again and get the same rubbish.
Adec Marine, Croydon - They will collect anywhere in SE UK but they can't go on board a boat to do so...Gordon Bennett.
Is there no-one out there who wants to take a few quid off me for this. I'd probably buy an EPIRB while I'm thinking about it so there ought to be a bit of profit for someone.
