What a nice chap Benw is...

We wanted to change our tender, the Walker Bay 10 isn't getting sailed very often and it's not big enough for all five of us and two dogs.

So we saw Benw's ad for his Honwave and after a bit of a peek at the photos we settled on a price. Went over to Woolverstone today to see it in the flesh and Ben had reserved us a parking spot and spent 20 minutes in the rain going all over the tender with us. Then he very decently packed it away and drove it over to Fox's for us.

You get to meet some jolly nice people on the ECF and Ben and his wife are definitely some of the good ones.

Yup. Three good years use, full davit kit, electric outboard, battery and solar panel. Someone interested at £825. Actually I suspect quite a few people interested at £825

Thanks Simon, it was good to catch up yesterday. Delighted an ECForumite bagged it as I couldn't be bothered with all the ebay toings and froings. I know you will have a great time with the Honwave, it is a great boat for your purposes.
I must echo the compliment - I think we were equally drenched by the end.
